This Movember, Énergie Fitness is moving for men’s health. From boosting mental wellbeing to staying physically strong, find out how exercise can make a difference - and how you can get involved to support the cause.

Every November, moustaches take over faces across the world - and for good reason. Movember isn’t just about growing facial hair; it’s about growing awareness for men’s health, from mental wellbeing to physical fitness and early cancer detection. At Énergie Fitness, we’re proud to support Movember and encourage all our members to focus on feeling good, inside and out.

What Is Movember?

Movember is a global movement that started in 2003 with one simple idea: grow a moustache, start a conversation, and raise funds to tackle men’s health issues. Since then, millions have taken part worldwide, helping fund life-changing research into prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention.

But Movember isn’t just about donations - it’s about action. It’s a reminder for men to take their health seriously, check in with themselves and others, and make positive lifestyle changes that boost both body and mind.

Why Men’s Health Matters

Did you know that men are 37% more likely to die from cancer than women, and suicide remains one of the leading causes of death among men under 50? These statistics highlight why Movember’s message is so important.

Men often avoid talking about their health or seeking help when they need it. We believe fitness plays a crucial role in breaking that stigma. Regular exercise isn’t just about muscle and strength - it’s one of the best ways to protect your mental and physical wellbeing.

Fitness for a Stronger Mind and Body

Exercise can have a huge impact on men’s health, both mentally and physically. Here’s how:

Boosts mental wellbeing: Physical activity releases endorphins, reduces stress, and helps manage anxiety and depression.

Supports heart health: Regular exercise strengthens your cardiovascular system and reduces the risk of heart disease.

Builds confidence and self-esteem: Setting fitness goals and achieving them helps you feel empowered and in control.

Improves overall health: Staying active supports immune function, improves sleep, and helps maintain a healthy weight.

Even small steps - like 30 minutes of movement a day - can make a big difference.

Join the Movember Movement with Énergie Fitness

This Movember, we’re encouraging our members to move for Movember — whether that’s hitting the gym, running 60km for the 60 men lost to suicide every hour, or simply showing up and supporting a mate.

Here are some ways to get involved:

• Grow a Mo: Join the moustache movement to spark conversations about men’s health.

• Move for Movember: Set yourself a fitness challenge and log your progress throughout the month.

• Talk About It: Check in on your friends, family, and gym buddies. A simple “How are you really doing?” can make all the difference.

• Join Our Events: Keep an eye on your local Énergie Fitness club for Movember challenges, charity workouts, and community events.

Let’s Move for Men’s Health

Movember reminds us that men’s health is more than a month-long campaign, it’s an ongoing commitment to taking care of ourselves and each other.

So, this November, let’s lift for a cause, run for awareness, and grow for good. Whether you’re rocking a moustache or breaking a sweat, every effort counts.
